Our type training B1/B2 course provides the theoretical and practical expertise in the aircraft’s electrical systems, airframe systems, powerplant and avionics systems that are required under EASA Part 147/Part 66. Completion of the course enables B1/B2 licence holders to perform qualified maintenance checks on the aircraft type concerned.
The course uses practically-oriented instruction and the latest (and constantly-updated) training documentation to cover all the theoretical and technical aspects of the topics required. The practical training extends to components and assemblies as well as maintenance diagnostic systems (MDSs) and avionics built-in-test (BIT) procedures, and can also be offered separately in an EASA Part 145 environment.
Virtual Maintenance Training (VMT)
The Airbus A320 Virtual Maintenance Trainer is a comprehensive and cost-effective solution for your A320 maintenance training needs.
With its accurate simulation of the aircraft’s actual equipment, systems and component locations, the Virtual Maintenance Trainer (VMT) offers a safe yet highly realistic simulated training environment for aircraft technicians to learn A320 maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
The VMT provides an ideal platform for putting training theory into practice using the effective «learning by doing» methodology. And, with its vast range of functions, features, options and scenarios, it offers maximum flexibility to make the best possible use of the training time available.
- 10 March – 16 April 2014: Theoretical training (28 days)
- 22 April – 26 April 2014: Practical training (5* days)
* Due to virtual maintenance training we are able to reduce the training duration from 10 to 5 days
